Do you remove the old storage heaters?
Yes. This is a key part of our service. Old storage heaters are incredibly heavy (filled with clay bricks) and can be dangerous to move. We safely disconnect them, remove them from your property, and ensure they are disposed of responsibly.
Are modern electric radiators cheaper to run?
They are significantly more efficient because they are uncontrollable. Old storage heaters leak heat all day when you aren’t there. Modern radiators only heat up when you want them to, meaning you stop wasting money heating an empty house.
Do I need to rewire my house?
Usually not. In most cases, we can utilise the existing wiring from your old storage heaters (switching it from the off-peak circuit to the 24-hour circuit at the fuse board). Our electricians handle all of this.
